Organised by Swiss E-commerce Association NetComm Suisse, Fashion Innovation Week in Ticino (Lugano) taking place from 1st to 5th April is establishing as one of the leading e-commerce events for the fashion industry in Switzerland. More than 1200 visitors, 60 speakers, over 50 sponsors and partners and Ticino’s best start-ups meet to discuss the latest digital innovations to drive digital transformation in the fashion industry. The speakers are from leading fashion brands all around the world as Hugo Boss, PVH, Bally, VF, La Martina, Breitling, Golden Goose, Modiano, etc.

Here is the summary of this year programme:

Monday 1st of April: Innovation Meets Fashion – the main event of the week gathering over 1000 industry leaders and 100 speakers, with conferences and workshops on different topics as disruptive technologies, trends in retail, marketing and content, innovation and investments

Tuesday 2nd of April: Fashion Innovation Award– 10 digital start-ups providing innovative solutions for fashion production, inventory management, logistics, marketing, customer experience, etc.pitch leading brands and investors, the award ceremony to announce the winners whose disruptive vision will have a game-changing impact on the industry

Wednesday 3rd of April:Institutional Day – political and business leaders discuss the innovation impact on economic growth, Swiss corporate tax reform, the role of private equity as regards to the start-ups, making Ticino the Fashion Tech Hub in Europe and its implications on economic development of local players

Thursday 4th and Friday 5th of April: Digital Creativity Challenge – groups of students from leading universities are invited to find innovative solutions and products to impact the brand digitalisation
